A Stolen Post

Gates wide open

This song was inspired by the sounds of frolicking bees, birds and puppies. It was so refreshing to  finally be able to express my inner emotions into a string of melodious vibrations. Every time I play it, or hear it being played over those rumbling, silver & black speakers, it sends chills of refreshing inner peace over my soul. Almost as if i was watching a crystal clear waterfall bubble out of pure granite boulders, cascade down a lush green mountain side, and empty out into a pearlescent, blue grotto full of shimmering, turquoise shadows. The shadows are so lifelike, they convey almost a sense of companionship and protection in their dancing, swaying movements. The grotto, now so full of beating emotion, it feels like a meeting place of every influential idea in the history of mankind.

This song was written to convey the latter idea.

I would just like to thank my mentor and a half. Iguana Charles was so helpful in soothing and clearing my mind so that I was able to record all my thoughts in my diary, or as I like to call it,"my big, tiny, little book of emotions". Also I'd like to acknowledge Mr. Iguana's assistant, Fran Migelmouth. He's a little slow in the literary sense but his sandwich making skills are unparalleled. Mmmm... Yum, little drips of bacon crumbles, a hint of thyme, some Brie cheese, a strip of the finest Boar's Head smoked ham, some Bok-choy, a spritz of the finest Indonesian dressing, and 7 coarsely crushed black pepper kernels. During that first bite of Fran's signature sandwich was the first time my taste buds and my literary genius agreed on something. It's gorgeous composition, and mouth tingling taste created the perfect taste sensation. A steady diet of those sandwiches kept me energized through my struggles while writing this song.
